The REF200AU/2K5 with Current & Power Monitors & Regulators Dual Current Source Current Sink is a precision dual current source/current sink amplifier from Texas Instruments. It combines two precision current sources, each capable of sourcing or sinking 500mA into a 10mO load, with two precision current sinks, each capable of sourcing or sinking 1.25A into a 2O load. The REF200AU/2K5 is designed to enable accurate current and power monitoring and regulation for automotive, industrial, and general-purpose applications. It features a high-voltage supply range up to 40V, low AC and DC offsets, and low quiescent current down to 9µA. The integrated current sense amplifiers and voltage regulators are optimized to minimize power dissipation while providing an accurate voltage reference for the current sinks and sources. The device is offered in 8-pin SOIC and VSSOP packages for improved thermal performance.
