The LM339D is an analog comparator quad differential manufactured by Texas Instruments. This device features four independent inputs that are capable of operating from a single power supply or separate dual supplies. It can compare two analog signals for a voltage or current and output either a logic high or low depending on the signal as an indicator or inform other ICs of the signal as a means of control. This device operates over a wide single supply range with superior propagation delays, low power consumption, and minimal loading impact on the signals being compared. It also has an internal hysteresis that allows for accurate comparison at small differential voltages. This device can be used for various applications that involve digital signaling, monitoring of power supplies, detection of temperature, pressure, and other analog differences.
