The 5-1478763-2 D-Sub Backshell with Metal 15-Way 45 Deg Entry-KIT is a connector produced by TE Connectivity. It is made from a die-cast zinc material and is designed for use with 15-pin D-subminiature connectors. It provides EMI/RFI shielding and protection to the rear of the connector. The 45-degree entry design allows for a more secure termination in limited space and difficult to reach areas. The kit comes with two parts including a backshell and strain relief, and is available with a variety of wire insertions, cable clamps, and EMI/EMC ferrites. It is suitable for industrial, telecommunications, and consumer electronic application.
