University's computing rules
TSR00313 is part of Syracuse University's Acceptable Use of Computing Resources policy and it describes the appropriate use of Social Media Accounts in connection with University-sponsored activities such as teaching, research, and student organizations. This policy states that all individuals affiliated with Syracuse University must adhere to the following when engaging in any activities related to the use of social media:
1. All posts must comply with University policies as well as applicable state and federal laws.
2. All content should be professional and must comply with Syracuse University's Character & Citizenship Standard.
3. Any posts about the University and its personnel must represent the University in a favorable light.
4. Posts must maintain the privacy of student and employee information.
5. The University reserves the right to request that posts or comments be removed or modified based on the University's discretion.
6. The University is not responsible for any user generated content.
