VN750PS-E High-side driver Features Type R I V DS(on) OUT CC VN750PS-E 60 m 6A 36 V ECOPACK : lead free and RoHS compliant SO-8 Automotive Grade: compliance with AEC guidelines CMOS compatible input On-state open-load detection Description Off-state open-load detection The VN750PS-E is a monolithic device designed Shorted load protection in STMicroelectronics VIPower M0-3 Undervoltage and overvoltage shutdown Technology intended for driving any kind of load with one side connected to ground. Protection against loss of ground Active V pin voltage clamp protects the device Very low standby current CC against low energy spikes (see ISO7637 transient Reverse battery protection compatibility table). Active current limitation combined with thermal shutdown and automatic restart help protect the device against overload. The device detects open load condition in on and off-state. Output shorted to V is detected in the CC off-state. Device automatically turns off in case of ground pin disconnection. Table 1.
