Additional Infomation About Product

The UC3843BD1013TR is an integrated circuit switching controller manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is a monolithic current-mode PWM (pulse width modulation) controller and is suitable for controlling DC-DC converters, lamp ballasts, and other types of switch-mode power supplies. This IC has built-in control features such as synchronizable fixed frequency operation, Low Power Limit with ‘hiccup’ mode, Programmable On-Time, Programmable Dead-Time, Frequency Foldback, Transistor Current Limiting, and Soft-Start. It has an 8-bit Current comparison and Programmable Dead-Time to achieve line-transient response. It also has built-in Start-Up Circuit providing soft start and input under-voltage lockout with selectable threshold voltage. The maximum peak current mode is 0.5mA with low operating current. The UC3843BD1013TR is provided in an 8-pin SOIC package and generally operates over the temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
