SMAJ24CA is a surface mount, uni-directional, low-capacitance, ESD protection diode from STMicroelectronics. It consists of two individual low capacitance ESD protection diodes fabricated in a small SMAJ24CA surface-mount package. The device is designed to protect up to two lines (I/O, power, or signal) against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other transient voltage events. This device's ESD protection is rated at up to 25 kV contact discharge and 35 kV air-gap discharge, depending on mounting conditions. Additionally, it has a very low capacitance of 0.6 pF typical @ Vr = 0 volts, and a fast response time.
