The SM6T200CA is an ultra-low capacitance transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode array from STMicroelectronics. It provides very low capacitance (1.2 pF typ) for high-speed data transmission lines for the protection of sensitive components from electrostatic discharge (ESD). It is available in the small surface mount DFN package and is designed specifically to protect high-speed interfaces such as USB, HDMI, and DisplayPort from transient overvoltage or ESD. The SM6T200CA features a low breakdown voltage rating of 6V (max), high ESD/ESD-clamp absorption of 20A/30A (max) at 8/20ns respectively, and a low clamping voltage of 7V (max). It is also equipped with fast response times and delivers excellent electrical performance. The SM6T200CA is ideal for ESD and overvoltage protection in consumer electronics, automotive, and industrial applications.
