The STMicroelectronics L6494LD is a key component of industrial and power conversion systems. It is a dual high- and low-side gate drive IC that integrates two full-bridge drivers, each with a high-side power MOSFET and a low-side power MOSFET. This part has a variety of features such as integrated high-side and low-side protection, overcurrent protection with programmable threshold, overvoltage protection, and an active discharge circuit. It also supports a wide range of popular power switches from various chip makers, and comes with an 8-bit SPI interface for easy configuration. The L6494LD is designed to be used in industrial motor control applications, DC-DC converters, and other power conversion applications.
