The AMS1117-2.5 is a Low Dropout (LDO) regulator manufactured by SLKORMICRO. It is a positive fixed 1.4V @ 1A 30V 2.55V 1A SOT-223 RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances). It is designed to provide a regulated output voltage with minimal input to output differential while maintaining low noise and high power supply rejection. It has a typical dropout voltage of 1.3V at 1A and provides excellent load and line regulation. It features over current and thermal protection and includes an internal output resistor for improved PSRR performance. The device is offered in a SOT-223 RoHS package and is suitable for use in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.
