The SSP8023A is a SOP-8 Motor Driver IC that is manufactured by Siproin. It is RoHS compliant. This IC is a high-performance, three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor driver. It is designed to drive three-phase brushless DC motors with phase current up to 2A (3.0A peak). It has many features, such as integrated over-current protection and adjustable PWM frequency and dead time, as well as a low current sleep mode and built-in thermal shutdown protection. The SSP8023A is suitable for direct connection to a three-phase brushless DC motor and has a low stand-by current of 6uA. The SSP8023A is suitable for use in various motor drive applications such as home appliance, office automation, industrial, automotive, and medical.
