The Simcom SIM5320E-EVM with Dev.kit is an evaluation manufactured by Simcom and is used to evaluate the features and performance of the SIMCOM SIM5320E GSM/GPRS module. The evaluation board is designed for easy hardware and software evaluation of the SIM5320E GSM/GPRS module with full network coverage on all GSM/GPRS bands. It integrates the dual-band GSM/GPRS engine SIM5320E, an external PA and other peripheral components to ensure high performance and reliable connections for user applications. The SIM5320E-EVM also integrates a variety of peripheral devices for more professional evaluation and applications, such as an SD card reader, PC microphone, USB port, etc.The SIM5320E-EVM with Dev.kit consists of a reference board and a standard soft SIM adapter. The reference board includes all the necessary components and it is the main platform. The SIM adapter connects to the board and allows the user to load the application (sw) and the GSM/GPRS profiles. The SIM5320E-EVM provides a comprehensive development environment for development, debugging, testing and evaluation of GSM/GPRS applications. It can be used for wireless communication, SMS and other GSM/GPRS based applications (such as location tracking).
