The Semtech UCLAMP5011ZATFT 5V ESD Suppressor / TVS Diode Z1A is designed to protect electronic components and systems from damage due to electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical overstress (EOS) and electrical fast transients (EFT). It is a small, dual diode device that operates in very low voltage and current, and functions as a unidirectional overvoltage clamp, keeping a voltage level below a certain threshold. The device contains temperature-compensated zeners and integrated passive components, which give it both overvoltage and ESD/EFT protection. The device is also RoHS compliant and meets the requirements of standard IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4.
