The SEFRAM96 with Tester is a LAN wiring and conductor detector manufactured by Sefram. It features an LED to indicate the presence of a wiring or conductor, and operates at a frequency range of 1 to 1.5 kHz. It works by sending an electromagnetic field into the wiring or conductor, then measuring the reflected response. It can then detect faults such as open or closed circuit, and can trace a routed cable inside a wall. The device is also protected against overloads and short circuits.
