The UART WiFi V2 (ESP8285) module is manufactured by Seeed Studio and is a low-cost, 4-wire (Grove interface) embedded Wi-Fi module that facilitates solution for IoT projects. It is based on the ESP8285 with integrated on-board antennae and uses SDIO 2.0, SPI, and UART interfaces for communication. It is powered by a 3-5VDC power supply and supports both transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) functions. It has the capacity to communicate with up to five stations simultaneously over a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. With an operating temperature range between -40°C and +85°C, the module is ideal for applications in industrial settings. The UART WiFi V2 (ESP8285) module from Seeed is a great choice for wireless connectivity when cost and performance need to be balanced.
