ESD498/GE is a grounded Schutzinger Electronic Ground Impedance Tester. It is designed to measure the electrical resistance of grounding systems in industrial and commercial facilities. It is a robust tool that is capable of accurately testing both electrically and non-electrically connected grounds, including those that are connected to sensitive computer and communication equipment. The tester also includes an isolated wiring system for testing without having to disconnect any of the grounds from their service lines. The tester is typically used for annual grounding system assessments in accordance with National Electrical Code requirements and other internationally recognized standards.
