The SMA7029M is an electronic part manufactured by Sanken which incorporates motor drivers ZIP15 RoHS on a single chip. It has two driver ICs, one for each motor, so that it can be used for superior motor control and signal processing. The ZIP15 RoHS is an integrated circuit with low-voltage switching capability and low power that meets the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) European directive. It has several identifying features, such as a 15-pin connection, 0.5A drive capability per coil and fast switching between motor direction and speed sequences. The SMA7029M is designed to reduce size, cost and complexity in motor control applications such as air conditioners, electric fans, motorized robots and automotive systems.
