The R&S HMC8042 is a high-performance RF synthesizer, part of Rohde & Schwarz's SMBV Series of signal generators and microwave signal sources. It offers a wide frequency range and a high output power with excellent signal purity. It also comes with a wide range of modulation capabilities and combining pulsed, AM, FM, and phase modulation. It is also capable of generating both CW and pulsed signals, with multi-tone modulation. It is an excellent choice for general purpose signal generation, especially in applications such as aerospace, avionics, and test and measurement.
