IDTF0552NLGI Datasheet F0552NBGI Sampling IF Receiver 1710MHz to 2050MHz Advance Datasheet GENERAL DESCRIPTION FEATURES Dual Channel for Diversity / MIMO Systems This document describes the specifications for the TM TM Combines FlatNoise and Zero-Distortion IDTF0552 1710MHz to 2050MHz dual path Sampling technology Intermediate Frequency (SIF) Receiver ideal for Multi- 29 dB Total Power Gain mode, Multi-carrier BaseStation Receivers. Refer to the 47 dB gain control range Part Matrix below describing the frequency coverage of 1 dB Gain Steps the complete series. This series of devices covers all Ultra linear +45 dBm IP3 O UTRA bands up to 2.7 GHz and offers significantly better Low NF: 9.6 dB G MAX Noise and Distortion performance than currently 50 input impedance available solutions. IF frequencies up to 450 MHz are Matched to 100 differential output supported. impedance The IDTF0552 SIF provides 29dB gain and offers 47dB Ultra high +19.8 dBm P1dBo gain adjustment in 1dB steps designed to operate with Independent channel standby mode a single 5V supply. Nominally, the device offers +45 Constant LO impedance in STBY mode dBm Output IP3 using 450mA of I . Alternately one 6 bit parallel control CC can configure the device in low current (LC) mode to 60 MHz to 450 MHz IF frequency range nd reduce power consumption to < 1.9 Watts. Excellent 2x2, 3x3, IM2, 2 Harmonic Rejection This device is packaged in a 10x10 68-pin Thin QFN I = 450mA STD Mode, 375mA LC Mode CC with 50 ohm single-ended RF input and 200 ohm 10x10 68-pin TQFN package differential IF output impedances for ease of integration into the receiver lineup. The EvKit is configured to match the 200 ohm differential IF output DEVICE BLOCK DIAGRAM to 100 ohms differential for a broad range of IF center frequencies per the application drawings on page 51. RFIN A IFOUT A+ COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE IFOUT A- 6 TM GAIN A 0:5 2 RF VCO TDD (STBY) IDTs Zero-Distortion mixer in combination with Decode Bias 6 GAIN B 0:5 Logic Control LC Mode TM 2 Iset interstage filtering and IDTs proprietary FlatNoise RF IFOUT B+ IN B DVGA improves system SNR to the point where the external SAW filter can be eliminated. Both IP3 & NF O IFOUT B- are kept virtually flat while gain is backed off, enhancing SNR significantly under high level interferer conditions, and greatly benefiting 2G/3G/4G Multi-Carrier IF sampling receivers. In addition, total power consumption is reduced by ~35% compared to conventional solutions. PART MATRIX No external SAW is needed Part RF freq UTRA bands IF freq Typ. The matched output does not require a terminating resistor, thus the gain and distortion performance are preserved when driving Bandpass Anti-Alias filters.
