DATASHEET EL7457 FN7288 Rev 4.00 40MHz Non-Inverting Quad CMOS Driver January 26, 2012 The EL7457 is a high speed, non-inverting, quad CMOS Features driver. It is capable of running at clock rates up to 40MHz Clocking speeds up to 40MHz and features 2A peak drive capability and a nominal on-resistance of just 3. The EL7457 is ideal for driving 4 channels highly capacitive loads, such as storage and vertical clocks 12ns t /t at 1000pF C R F LOAD in CCD applications. It is also well suited to ATE pin driving, 1ns rise and fall time match level-shifting, and clock-driving applications. 1.5ns prop delay match The EL7457 is capable of running from single or dual power supplies while using ground referenced inputs. Each output Low quiescent current - <1mA can be switched to either the high (V ) or low (V ) supply H L Fast output enable function - 12ns pins, depending on the related input pin. The inputs are compatible with both 3V and 5V CMOS and TTL logic. The Wide output voltage range output enable (OE) pin can be used to put the outputs into a 8V V -5V L high-impedance state. This is especially useful in CCD -2V V 16.5V applications, where the driver should be disabled during H power down. 2A peak drive The EL7457 also features very fast rise and fall times which 3 on resistance are matched to within 1ns. The propagation delay is also Input level shifters matched between rising and falling edges to within 2ns. TTL/CMOS input-compatible The EL7457 is available in 16-pin QSOP, 16-pin SO (0.150 ), and 16-pin QFN packages. All are specified for Pb-free (RoHS compliant) operation over the full -40C to +85C temperature range.
