Additional Infomation About Product

The BT136 is a 500V, 4A TO-220 AC/DC Triac manufactured by Rectron. It is suitable for use in consumer electrical appliances, such as electric heaters, air conditioners, electric ovens, and electric stoves. This bidirectional semiconductor allows current to pass in both directions, allowing AC line switching without the need for a mechanical relay. The BT136 has a low on-state voltage drop and a high critical rate of rise of surge current. It is capable of triggering at a low current of 8mA and can be used in many different light and heavy load control applications.
