ONAVI satellite
The Raystar ONAVI (Orbiting Navigation and Autonomous In-Flight Validation) satellite is a multi-functional platform for on-board navigation system testing and demonstration. The RFC350P-EIW-DBC (Real-Time Flight Control and Autonomous In-Flight Validation Data Broadcast Capability) is a special payload brought to the craft that allows for autonomous in-flight navigation and control, enabling the ONAVI to autonomously fly and perform missions without human intervention. This capability allows for a variety of experiments, such as real-time navigation data, in-flight autonomous decision making, and real-time location positioning. The payload supports a variety of broadcast data formats and uses a powerful on-board receiver to collect, process and analyze the data gathered.
