Radpol RC1.6/0.8 is a 1.6mm thick, black EPDM rubber membrane specifically designed and manufactured for waterproofing of flat and pitched roofs. It is a combination between a flexible but tough rubber sheet and a reinforcing fabric, allowing it to shape itself around all types of building structures and to resist a wide range of stresses due to temperature, wind, water and other forces. It is a two-layer system with the first layer being made up of a black EPDM rubber treated with a fire retardant and sunlight stabiliser and the second layer consisting of a high strength and UV resistant polyamide reinforcement. RC1.6/0.8 is extremely resistant to UV and weathering, as well as being long lasting and durable. It is suitable for both exposed and non-exposed applications and due to its high level of resistance to water, it can be used to protect roofs from leaks and other forms of water damage.
