RADIAL MAGNET 8222 is a Magnetic bearing designed by Mecalor and is the world’s highest load capacity permanent magnet bearing with a fully balanced design. This bearing is designed with a 2-pole radial design, which combines multiple permanent magnets that focus the magnetic field in a compact assembly. This allows for a bearing that is specifically designed for high radial loads, making it ideal for applications where loads must be supported for extended periods of time. The 8222 bearing can support up to 120,000 N (27, 500 lbs) of radial load, making it ideal for heavy duty applications. The design also includes an internal compression spring that offers improved repeatability and lower reverberation performance.
