W0-P.ŻÓÅTE DO FI22+NAPIS STOP-AWARIA is a traffic management system that has been developed in order to improve traffic flow in urban and rural areas. The system consists of traffic signals, speed limit/message signs, variable speed signs and variable message signs. The traffic signals are used to reduce traffic delays and increase road safety whilst the speed limit/message and variable message signs are used to keep road users informed of the traffic conditions and provide warnings of any potential hazards. The variable speed signs allow for tailored speed adaption to the current traffic and road conditions. This system enables local authorities to apply fractional speed management, meaning that different speed limits can be set depending on the time of day or the type of road users.
