The LYT5228D part is a series of high-speed, CMOS-based, single-channel pulse width modulation (PWM) switching regulators manufactured by Power Integrations. It is designed to offer extremely low noise, high efficiency, and wide input voltage range capabilities. The LYT5228D is the 9V version of the series, offering 9V at 2A continuous, 3A peak current and with part efficiencies up to 95%. Its switching frequency (typical 100kHz) and minimal external components enable small and light weight end systems, while its active current-share feature allows paralleling up to 10 regulators for higher current outputs. The device's comprehensive protection features offer reliable performance in demanding conditions.
