Additional Infomation About Product

The Pololu 4066 Sensor is a low-power distance measuring sensor with a range of 1–250mm that is rated for operation at voltages between 3 and 5.5 VDC. It has a narrow sensing angle of 15° that is ideal for in-vehicle detection or narrow space sensing applications. This enhanced version of the popular Sharp GP2D12 sensor uses dual emitters and dual detectors to maintain a stable -15° to 15° angular sensing pattern over its entire operational range. It is interfaced with an adjustable two-wire analog voltage output for direct connection to analog-to-digital (A/D) converters, data acquisition systems, or robotics controllers.
