The PMS5003 RoHS Sensor Module is a low-cost, highly efficient, digital indoor air quality monitoring module designed for use with Plantower-manufactured PMS5003 particle monitors. It features a built-in fan that controls the sample intake air and allows an accurate PM2.5 and PM10 measurement. The sensor provides a calibrated digital output of Particulate Matter (PM) concentration in the air. It uses two M12 connectors to interface with the PMS5003 particle monitor and transmits data to the host system through an I2C interface.The PMS5003 also offers an on-board MCU for interfacing with the host system. Additionally, the module is equipped with an LED indicator for direct cell level monitoring of the particle sensor and temperature and humidity sensors, multiple communication interfaces, and adjustable sampling rate. The PMS5003 is suitable for use in various indoor air quality applications such as air conditioners, HVAC systems, air purification systems, and residential air quality monitoring.
