The FL 2079 safety switch, manufactured by Pizzato, is a single-sided grabwire switch with two normally closed (NC) contacts and one normally open (NO) contact. It is IP67 rated and designed for use in applications where personnel or machines need to be protected from hazardous situations. The switch can mechanically detect the opening/closing of a door, gate, guard or machine for safety purposes. It is easy to install and can be mounted on steel, aluminum, plastic or wood. The contacts are gold plated, which prevents corrosion and ensures reliable operation. The switch has a long service life, with a minimum of 1 million operations and a maximum of 2 million operations.
