The WIREFOX 16 CUS with Stripping tool; 4÷16mm2; Wire: round; 18mm is a tool manufactured by Phoenix Contact, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of electronic components. This ergonomically designed tool with ratchet action is designed for stripping standard insulated wires up to 16 240 mm2 (4–16 mm2) in round format and up to 18 mm in diameter. It can be used for universal 90 degree stripping, crimping, and cutting of round cable ends. The tool features a stripping force setting up to 0.5 N (0.05kN) to ensure that the insulation material is not damaged when stripped. It also has an adjustable contact pressure setting to increase the reliability of the crimps as well as an adjustable adjustable support arm to facilitate the crimping of single or multiple wires in either 90-degree or straight crimp terminations. The tool is also equipped with an integrated cutter for cutting away smaller wire pieces after crimping or stripping. The material of the tool is made from forged hardened steel to guarantee durability and a long lifespan.
