PCM W2 RED from Parrot Invent is a 3D printed, modular design platform that combines a central computer unit and modular boards for networking and for connections with external hardware. It can be easily customized and adapted to specific projects. It features a Gigabit Ethernet port, 8 USB ports, a Raspberry Pi, and a Galvanic Isolation Module (GIM), allowing it to be used as a bridge that can isolate and protect connected computers and devices from ground loops and other electrical disturbances. Additionally, it is compatible with industry standard Ethernet and USB standards, making it highly interoperable with industrial-grade devices and systems. The PCM W2 RED also includes the Parrot Invent-developed Baseboard Controller, a device that allows users to easily "mix-and-match" additional boards to the PCM W2 RED, and to dynamically adapt the system to their needs.
