Additional Infomation About Product

The UC3843BVD1R2G switching controller by ON Semiconductor is a current pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller designed for use in a wide range of off-line and DC-to-DC switching power supplies. It is capable of providing up to 1A peak current (continuous current of up to 1/2A) with a peak duty cycle of 96%. The controller operates at a switching frequency of up to 52kHz, allowing for greater power efficiency and quieter operation than with slower switching frequencies. The UC3843BVD1R2G is a pin-to-pin compatible alternative to the UC3842 from Signetics, and is offered in 8-pin DIP, 8-pin SOIC, and 8-pin DMP packages. It has wide operating temperature range extending from -40°C to 85°C, and features protection against excessive power dissipation during overload conditions, overvoltage faults, and line transient overvoltage.
