The UC2842BD1R2G is a switching controller manufactured by ON Semiconductor that has a 1A current PWM with a max duty cycle of 96%, operating at 52kHz. It is a high-performance device for use in space-limited and cost-sensitive power supplies and motor control applications. The IC is packaged in an 8-pin PDIP and 8-pin SOIC, and features a frequency foldback and current limit for improved protection against overloads. It provides both active cycle-by-cycle current limit and hiccup mode current limit protection. It also features enhanced rising edge immunity to input transients and EMI filtering. The UC2842BD1R2G is designed to be simplest and most efficient solution for driving power MOSFETs and IGBTs with operating frequencies up to 52 kHz.
