Automotive High-Voltage Switcher for Low Power Offline SMPS NCV1060, NCV1063 The NCV106X products integrate a fixed frequency current mode controller with a 670 V MOSFET. Available in a SOIC10 or www.onsemi.com SOIC16 package, the NCV106X offer a high level of integration, including softstart, frequencyjittering, shortcircuit protection, MARKING DIAGRAMS skipcycle, adjustable peak current set point, ramp compensation, and a Dynamic SelfSupply (eliminating the need for an auxiliary winding). 16 Unlike other monolithic solutions, the NCV106X is quiet by nature: SOIC16 during nominal load operation, the part switches at one of the available NCV1063fyyyG 16 CASE 751B05 AWLYWW frequencies (60 kHz or 100 kHz). When the output power demand 1 D SUFFIX diminishes, the IC automatically enters frequency foldback mode and 1 provides excellent efficiency at light loads. When the power demand reduces further, it enters into a skip mode to reduce the standby 10 consumption down to a no load condition.
