NCP1937xxG AWLYWW Combination Power Factor Correction and Quasi- Resonant Flyback Controllers for Adapters NCP1937 www.onsemi.com This combination IC integrates power factor correction (PFC) and quasi resonant flyback functionality necessary to implement a compact and highly efficient Switched Mode Power Supply for an MARKING DIAGRAM adapter application. 120 HV/X2 PFBHV The PFC stage exhibits nearunity power factor while operating in a Critical Conduction Mode (CrM) with a maximum frequency clamp. BO/X2 PFBLV The circuit incorporates all the features necessary for building a robust GND PControl PCS/PZCD and compact PFC stage while minimizing the number of external SOIC20 PONOFF PDRV Narrow Body components. QCT QDRV CASE 751BS QCS Fault The quasi resonant current mode flyback stage features a PSTimer VCC proprietary valleylockout circuitry, ensuring stable valley switching. QFB QZCD th This system works down to the 4 valley and toggles to a frequency NCP1937 = Specific Device Code th foldback mode with a minimum frequency clamp beyond the 4 xx = A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3, B51, valley to eliminate audible noise.
