The MC1496DR2G is a low power Modulator/Demodulator Balanced Mod/DeMod manufactured by ON Semiconductor. The device includes an input multiplexer, an on-chip balanced modulator, a voltage controlled oscillator, a low-noise amplifier, on-chip tunable band-pass filter, and a demodulator with balanced output. It supports a wide frequency range from 4 to 20 MHz while providing high levels of linearity, isolation and spurious response suppression. The device is suitable for use in wired communications, radio communication, modems, and other systems requiring modulation and demodulation.
