This literature is subject to all applicable copyright laws and is not for resale in any manner.TM FPF1038 IntelliMAX Advanced Slew Rate Controlled Load Switch November 2013 FPF1038 Low On-Resistance, Slew-Rate-Controlled Load Switch Features Description 1.2 V to 5.5 V Input Voltage Operating Range The FPF1038 advanced load-management switch target applications requiring a highly integrated solution for Typical R : ON disconnecting loads powered from DC power rail (<6 V) =5.5 V 20 m at VIN with stringent shutdown current targets and high load capacitances (up to 200 F). The FPF1038 consists of 21 m at VIN=4.5 V slew-rate controlled low-impedance MOSFET switch 37 m at V =1.8 V (21 m typical) and other integrated analog features. IN The slew-rate controlled turn-on characteristic prevents 75 m at V =1.2 V IN inrush current and the resulting excessive voltage droop on power rails. Slew Rate / Inrush Control with t : 2.7 ms (Typical) R These devices have exceptionally low shutdown current 3.5 A Maximum Continuous Current Capability drain (<1 A maximum) that facilitates compliance in Low <1 A Shutdown Current low standby power applications. The input voltage range operates from 1.2 V to 5.5 V DC to support a wide range ESD Protected: Above 8 kV HBM, 1.5 kV CDM of applications in consumer, optical, medical, storage, GPIO / CMOS-Compatible Enable Circuitry portable, and industrial device power management.
