Additional Infomation About Product

The E6C3-CWZ5GH-3600 2M part is a low-cost incremental encoder from Omron. This encoder is a part of the E6C series, which is ideal for general-purpose applications that require speed and position data accuracy. This specific model is a type 2M hollow shaft encoder with a maximum speed of 3600 RPM and a sensitivity of 2 edges per revolution. This encoder is designed to be used on direct drive stepper motors, and has a self-holding torque of 8 mN·m. As it is a low-cost incremental encoder, there are fewer features than some of the more advanced models in the E6C series. However, it does offer a IP65 rated protection rating and a range of resolutions from 1 to 16 edges per rotation.
