Omron E3T-FT14 2M is a type of optical distance sensor primarily used for short range measurement and detection purposes. The E3T-FT14 2M is an analog output device, meaning it provides variable electrical signals proportional to the distance of an object. It flashes light to an object at 340 nanometer wavelength and measures the reflective light with a built-in photodiode, calculating the distance of the object based on the amount of reflected light. The E3T-FT14 2M is designed to be compact and versatile; it has a 14 mm sensing range and is adjustable for different sensing areas. It has an IP67/IP68 rating for protection against water and dust ingress, making it suitable for operation in harsh environments. The E3T-FT14 2M is a reliable and accurate distance sensor that is used in a variety of applications.
