Additional Infomation About Product

The PCA9557D112 is an extremely low power, double, CMOS logic-compatibe I²C-bus 12-bit I/O expander manufactured by NXP Semiconductor. This device provides 16 GPIOs with an I²C-bus interface that is compatible with the SMBus and PMBus applications. It features two programmable open drain ports that can be set as either outputs or inputs, two programmable push-pull ports that can be used as outputs, two programmable inputs and a programmable interrupt output pin. This device requires a low operating current and low standby current of 18µA and a low active bus slicing current of 150µA at VCC = 3.3V. It has a wide operating voltage range from 1.8V to 5.5V. It is used for interfacing the I²C-bus with the memory devices and microprocessors of various processing systems.
