The PCA9548AD.112 is an I²C bus switch from NXP designed for system-level applications. The PCA9548AD.112 device is an eight-channel I²C mux that allows up to eight I²C masters and slaves to be bridged and connected to a single I²C bus. The mux also supports bidirectional data switching between the I²C buses and enables multiple masters to access a single slave. The PCA9548AD.112 is powered by a wide single-supply voltage ranging between 1.8V to 5.5V, making it suitable for both 5V and 3V systems. The device has an output voltage compatible with both open-collector and push-pull outputs, and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
