Additional Infomation About Product

The MPL3115A2R1 is an 8-pin LGA surface-mount device manufactured by NXP. It is a pressure sensor that operates within a pressure range of 50,000 Pa to 110,000 Pa (7.25 psi to 16 psi). It has four selectable operating ranges, that is, 50 mPa (6.56 psia) to 110 mPa (15.95 psia), 0.2 hPa (0.29 psia) to 1.2 hPa (1.76 psia), 5 mPa (7.22 psia) to 50 mPa (7.25 psia), and 300 Pa (0.44 psia) to 1000 Pa (1.45 psia). The device offers excellent accuracy and linearity of ± 0.1% full scale due to its MEMS capacitive sensing technology. It also features low current consumption (120 µA) and low power consumption (2 µW typical). The MPL3115A2R1 provides I2C/SPI communication or interruption configuration (Interrupt Driven Data Output). The pressure data is available in either 14-bit or 16-bit resolution, providing an output from over a wide range of temperatures (–40oC to +85oC).
