The 74HC259PW.112 is an 8-bit addressable latch designed and manufactured by Nexperia. It is a CMOS device that operates at 5 V, and has an operating temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to +85 degrees Celsius. The device is packaged in an SOIC-16 package and is pin-compatible with other standard 8-bit addressable latches such as the 74HC259 and 74LS259. The device features three address inputs (A0-A2) and eight data inputs (D0-D7) for user-specified configurations. Additionally, the device provides output enable (OE) and output enable inverse (OE#) controls, enabling the user to select whether the output of the latch will be held in its current state or reset to zero. It can be used in a variety of applications including address decoding and demultiplexing.
