MPM3840 2.8V-5.5V, 4A, Power Module, Synchronous Step-Down Converter with Integrated Inductor The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MPM3840 is a DC/DC module that >80% Light-Load Efficiency includes a monolithic, step-down, switch-mode Low I : 40 A Q converter with built-in, internal power MOSFETs Wide 2.8V to 5.5V Operating Input Range and an inductor. The MPM3840 can provide 4A Output Voltage as Low as 0.6V of continuous output current from a 2.8V to 100% Duty Cycle in Dropout 5.5V input voltage with excellent load and line 4A Output Current regulation. The MPM3840 is ideal for powering 25m and 12m Internal Power MOSFETs portable equipment that run on a single-cell 1.2MHz Frequency Lithium-ion (Li+) battery. The output voltage can External Mode Control be regulated as low as 0.6V. Only input External Mode Control (PWM.PFM) and capacitors, output capacitors, and feedback (FB) Dynamic Analog Voltage resistors are required to complete the design.
