MP9485 100V Input, 500mA, Step-Down Converter DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP9485 is a high-voltage, step-down, Wide 4.5V to 100V Input Range switching regulator that delivers up to 0.5A of Hysteretic Control: No Compensation current to the load. It integrates a high-side, Up to 2MHz Switching Frequency high-voltage power MOSFET with a current limit PWM Dimming Control Input for LED of 1.0A, typically. The wide 4.5V to 100V input Application range accommodates a variety of step-down Short-Circuit Protection (SCP) with applications, making it ideal for automotive, Integrated High-Side MOSFET industry, and lighting applications. Hysteretic 170A Quiescent Current voltage-mode control is employed for very fast Thermal Shutdown response. MPSs proprietary feedback control Available in a SOIC-8 Package with an scheme minimizes the number of required Exposed Pad external components. APPLICATIONS The switching frequency can be up to 2MHz, allowing for small component size. Thermal E-Bike Control Power Supplies shutdown and short-circuit protection (SCP) Solar Energy Systems provide reliable and fault-tolerant operations.
