MP6960 Fast Turn-Off Intelligent Controller With CC/CV Controller The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES Works with 12V Standard and 5V Logic- The MP6960 is a synchronous rectified Level FETS controller for a high-efficiency flyback converter Compatible with Energy Star 1W Standby circuit. The controller has integrated voltage Requirements and current regulators for the secondary side of V to V Range from 8V to 24V the converter, making it suitable for battery DD SS charging and as a secondary controller for V to GND Range from 4.5V to 36V D switching regulator systems. Fast Turn-Off Total Delay of 20ns Max. 400kHz Switching Frequency The MP6960 regulates the forward drop of an <400 A Quiescent Current in Light-Load external switch to about 70mV and switches it Mode off as soon as the voltage goes negative. It also Supports CCM, DCM and Quasi-Resonant has a light-load sleep mode to reduce the Topologies quiescent current to <300 A. Supports High-Side and Low-Side The MP6960 also compares the DC voltage Rectification and the current level at the output of a switching Power Savings of up to 1.5W in a Typical power supply to the voltage reference and Notebook Adapter current limitation, respectively.
