MP24943 3A, 55V, 100kHz Step-Down Converter with Programmable Output OVP Threshold The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP24943 is a monolithic, step-down, Wide 4.5V to 55V Operating Input Range switch-mode converter. It supplies 3A of Programmable Output Over-Voltage continuous output current over a wide input- Protection supply range with excellent load and line Output Adjustable from 0.8V to 45V regulation. 0.15 Internal Power MOSFET Switch Stable with Low ESR Output Ceramic MP24943 achieves low EMI signature with well- Capacitors controlled switching edges. Fixed 100kHz Frequency Fault condition protection includes Low EMI Signature programmable-output over-voltage protection, Thermal Shutdown cycle-by-cycle current limit, and thermal Cycle-by-Cycle Over-Current Protection shutdown. Available in SOIC8 and SOIC8E Packages MP24943 requires a minimal number of readily- APPLICATIONS available standard external components. It is available in SOIC8 and SOIC8E package.
