MP24183 1A, 55V, Programmable Frequency White LED Driver The Future of Analog IC Technology FEATURES DESCRIPTION 1A Maximum Output Current The MP24183 is a 55V, 1A, white LED driver Unique Step-up/down Operation (Buck- suitable for either step-down or inverting Boost Mode) step-up/down applications. It achieves 1A peak output current over a wide input supply range Wide 4.5V to 55V Operating Input Range for Step-Down Applications (Buck Mode) with excellent load and line regulation. Current mode operation provides fast transient 0.28 Internal Power MOSFET Switch response and eases loop stabilization. Fault Adjustable Switching Frequency condition protection includes thermal shutdown, Analog and PWM Dimming cycle-by-cycle peak current limiting, input over 0.198V Reference Voltage voltage protection, open strings protection and 5 A Shutdown Mode output short circuit protection. No minimum LED required The MP24183 incorporates both DC and PWM Stable with Low ESR Output Ceramic dimming onto a single control pin. The separate Capacitors input reference ground pin allows for direct Cycle-by-Cycle Over Current Protection enable and/or dimming control for a positive to Thermal Shutdown Protection negative power conversion. Open Strings Protection The MP24183 requires a minimum number of Input Over Voltage Protection readily available standard external components Output Short Circuit Protection and is available in a 10-pin 3mm x 3mm QFN Available in 10-Pin 3x3 QFN Package package.
