MP2316 19V, 3A, 40A I , High-Efficiency Q Constant On-Time (COT) Step-Down Converter in 2x3mm QFN Package The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2316 is a fully-integrated, high efficiency, 4V to 19V Operating Input Range synchronous, step-down switch-mode converter, 3A Output Current featuring only 40 A quiescent current. This very 40 A Quiescent Current compact device achieves 3A continuous output Output Adjustable from 0.6V current over a wide input supply range with 90m/30m High Side/Low Side R for DS(ON) excellent load and line regulation, and can Internal Power MOSFETs operate with high efficiency over a wide output Power Good Indicator current load range. Its optimized for battery- Programmable Soft-Start Time operated applications and applications requiring Forced PWM or Auto PFM/PWM Mode high light load efficiency. Selectable With Constant On-Time control, the MP2316 Programmable Switching Frequency provides very fast transient response, easy loop Thermal Shutdown design as well as very tight output regulation. Short Circuit Protection: Hiccup Mode Available in QFN14 (2mmx3mm) Package Full protection features include SCP, OCP, UVP, and thermal shutdown. APPLICATIONS The MP2316 requires a minimal number of Tablet PCs readily available standard external components Solid State Drives with a space saving 2mmx3mm 14-pin QFN Gaming package.
