MP2269 3.3V - 30V, 1A, 12A IQ, Synchronous, Step-Down Converter with External Soft Start and Power Good in 2x3mm QFN Package The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2269 is a frequency-programmable Wide 3.3V to 30V Operating Voltage Range (350kHz to 2.5MHz), synchronous, step-down, 1A Continuous Output Current switching regulator with integrated, internal, 1 A Low Shutdown Supply Current high-side and low-side power MOSFETs. The 12 A Sleep Mode Quiescent Current MP2269 provides 1A of highly efficient output 180m/80m High-Side/Low-Side R DS(ON) current with current-mode control for fast loop for Internal Power MOSFETs response. 350kHz to 2.5MHz Programmable Switching Frequency The wide 3.3V to 30V input range accommodates a variety of step-down Power Good Output applications. A 1 A shutdown mode quiescent External Soft Start current allows the MP2269 to be used in 80ns Minimum On Time battery-powered applications. Selectable Forced PWM Mode and Auto PFM/PWM Mode High power conversion efficiency over a wide Low Dropout Mode load range is achieved by scaling down the Hiccup Over-Current Protection (OCP) switching frequency at light-load condition to Available in a QFN-15 (2mmx3mm) reduce switching and gate driving losses. Package An open-drain power good signal indicates the output signal. Frequency foldback helps prevent APPLICATIONS inductor current runaway during start-up. Battery-Powered Systems Thermal shutdown provides reliable and fault- Smart Homes tolerant operation.
